Watson Architects is a recently formed small practice with a focus on three principle areas of interest in architecture:

  • Environmentally sustainable design (ESD)
  • Conservation (including heritage issues and adaptive re-use)

The practice aims to provide good quality architectural solutions designed to respond to the client’s needs, the site and its environment. 

Solutions aim to include environmentally efficient and sustainable approaches through design, materials and technical choices.

The practice has expertise in conservation and adaptive re-use of existing buildings (including heritage buildings). This assists in the retention of culturally significant places and represents another approach towards a responsible and sustainable architecture.
